Every year, the First United Methodist Church of Ennis holds a Harvest Festival as a fundraiser.  This year, a large portion of the proceeds will be used to replace our “turn of the century” vans that are used for many youth and church functions.  Activities will include:

Trash to Treasures: A flea-market of gently used items that is like a community-wide garage sale!  Many wonderful finds for the bargain hunter!

Children’s Corner: A collection of gently used toys, costumes, and books available for purchase.

Silent Auction: Auction of donated new items from individuals and businesses in Ellis County.  Pick up an Oil Change, Vaccinations for a Pet, even a day at the spa!

Live Auction: Fast paced auction of big ticket items.  Last year, we had weekend getaways, special dinners, a trip to Colorado, and so much more!

Candle Cornucopia: This is a NEW addition to the Harvest Festival for 2010.  If you love scented candles, then this is the place to visit.  Peruse through a wide assortment of 12 oz “Short Pint” candles made right here in the state of Texas!

Food Pantry: A Bake Sale offering of cookies, cakes, even frozen items like dinners to be taken home to feed the family.

Pumpkin Patch: Need a pumpkin for fall decorating or baking?  Pick one up early... the bushel is often sold quickly!

Saturday Noon Live: A BBQ dinner to-go, with all the fixin’s.  Bags of extra take out BBQ went fast last year, so come early!

Look for us at the Ennis Fall Festival!
