Passover Dinner and a few touches...

Well, I finally got the software for the Mac updated, and am back in business updating the web. Much thanks to Kay Weathers and Pastor Keith, who will be helping in keeping the information fresh and new!

We added a page with information about the Passover Celebration and Dinner, on Tuesday April 19th at 6:00 pm.

There also were some fine tune updates to the Finance Committee Policies and Procedures.

Fall Family Block Party

The information about the upcoming Halloween Fall Family Block Party was added as a webpage! Click here for more info. It will be held on Sunday afternoon, October 31st, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. There will be Trunk-or-Treat’ing, a costume contest, games, prizes, and much more!

I also updated the first page, and the Lord’s Ladies information on the Ministries Page.

I removed some of the web pages for the Harvest Festival and the Acts 1:8 Ministry, but they can still be found by going to the Site Map.

Harvest Festival Live Auction

As FUMC truly begins the mission of reaching out to our neighbors under our vision statement of LOVING GOD...LOVING NEIGHBOR, the rubber begins to meet the road for the first time in many Christians life. None of us are truly comfortable going door to door to seek out our neighbors, but if we do not do it - WHO WILL?

Updates and Fine Tuning

Here are some of the fine tune adjustments made today:

Harvest Festival
The Live Auction section was removed for now, as organizer Greg Brown is not sure if we’ll have this section this year. But the Candle Cornucopia was added as a new event this year!

Operation Christmas Child
The hours of operation for the collection of the shoe boxes was added to the page. I also added links to the videos and pictures for easier access of the multimedia.

Harvest Festival helpers
The information was updated for contacts

Site map
This “What’s New” blog was added

others...
Some other fine tune adjustments were made in formating, that only the picky may notice! ;-)

We’re back in business!

With the start of the new school year, Daphne will have more time to edit the website. Pastor Keith and Youth Leader Mateo also contribute to the upkeep of the web. Here’s a list of new editions:

Harvest Festival
There are now two separate web pages. One gives general information about the Harvest Festival, to serve as an advertisement to the church and community. The other has the contact and support information for those who are helping with the production.

Acts 1:8 Project
A page tells the basics of the outreach project, and gives a basic outline as to what is to come.

Operation Christmas Child
Information about the project is posted here, along with specifics for the upcoming Countdown Carnival, to be held in Mansfield. There are also videos on how to pack a Shoe Box, and a Veggie Tales support song.

What’s New Blog
This blog is brand new! An easier way to know when something new is added.
